QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

 B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field, from an accredited college or university required; CPA desired but not required.

 Five to eight years accounting analysis required.

 Prior experience and knowledge in the use of software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Windows.

 Extensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of GAAP.

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 Enthusiasm and high level of job interest.

 Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

 Possess computer abilities as well as oral and written communication skills.

 Demonstrates the ability to relate well with all customers and peers.

 Ability to prioritize and organize to maximum quality, value and service.

 Possesses and applies fundamental accounting and financial concepts necessary to analyze financial position of the organization

Supervise the daily operations of accounting.

 Manage the month end close process.

 Manage the audit related functions of the system.

 Prepare all financial reports for the system.

 Remain current on all healthcare regulations and standards as it relates to financial accounting.

 Remain current on all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

 Assist System Corporate Controller with taxation and Subsidiaries/Joint Ventures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
