QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field, from an accredited college or university required; CPA desired but not required.
Five to eight years accounting analysis required.
Prior experience and knowledge in the use of software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Windows.
Extensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of GAAP.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Enthusiasm and high level of job interest.
Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Possess computer abilities as well as oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrates the ability to relate well with all customers and peers.
Ability to prioritize and organize to maximum quality, value and service.
Possesses and applies fundamental accounting and financial concepts necessary to analyze financial position of the organization
Supervise the daily operations of accounting.
Manage the month end close process.
Manage the audit related functions of the system.
Prepare all financial reports for the system.
Remain current on all healthcare regulations and standards as it relates to financial accounting.
Remain current on all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Assist System Corporate Controller with taxation and Subsidiaries/Joint Ventures
